My favorite store in Beaver Creek is Karin's. I have shopped here for years as we spend {almost} every Christmas here in Beaver Creek.
Let's take a look around!
Karin's has a lovely selection of Robin King Designs items. If you have not read Robin's lovely blog, you can check it out here.
We love Susan Westwood's art. You can find many of Susan's paintings at Karin's. Susan paints lovely landscapes of Beaver Creek and her mother's farm which is located in England. This is the link to Susan's website; I hope you will visit and take a look at her gorgeous art!

Ice rink in Beaver Creek Village. Skating outside is one of my favorite things to do in Beaver Creek, next to skiing, of course!
I love draft horses!
We bought this painting entitled "All in a Row." Mr. Art @ Home loved the snow in the trees. We like to support local artists when we travel by purchasing their art.
Karin has two Westie babies, and I have known Millie for a very long time. She is adorable! I wish I could have taken a photo of her, but I missed seeing her this trip. I do have a photo of Millie's likeness. One of Karin's employees made the cutest floral arrangement in Millie's image.
It is so cute it makes me smile!
If you are not planning a trip to Beaver Creek soon, check out Karin's website here.

How pretty that shop and how nice to always go back to eat each year. Like an old friend. I love to buy gifts if I can locally like at my favorite shop. I always tell them that I would rather give them the business plus it is a joy to visit there. I love your painting. What a nice memento of your family's holidays there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun store!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE cute little community home stores like that! Every item has a story. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful store! Love the painting you and Mr. Art @ Home chose! Very lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to spend the holidays. I see why this your favorite place. I think you choose a beautiful painting to take home, I'm sure it was hard with so many to choose from. I love the lamps too, not something we see here. I've never been to BC but I think I should now.
ReplyDeleteHope your enjoying the weekend.

WOW.First of all, I love your header. THEN THAT SHOP?????? Is that not fabulous? It reminds me of many of my favorite shops in Carmel, California, where 30 years ago my husband and I honeymooned. Ahhhh....the joys of ambling about in sweet shops that are original and unseen in malls!
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by yesterday and joining my blog! Did QUEEN make you rock AND ROLL? EXCELLENT!
Come back for more in the months to come! I have a PARIS LINK PARTY in May and a collective APRIL birthday party as well. FUN FUN FUN!

How terrific! It looks like it's filled with everything wonderful. I used to have a favorite little shop not fay from here called le jardin de fleur.I could spend hours in there looking at all the little pretties. Sadly the shop owner got divorced and they sold the shop. Ugh..it's a used car lot now. Hugs and smooches! P.S. so happy you are enjoying your giveaway prizes.
