I have not decorated for autumn much in my house, in spite of the great inspiration I posted yesterday. I did buy a new stuffed pumpkin from Pier 1 that smells like a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. It really does, and now my whole kitchen smells that way! I have had the runner for weeks (it was a gift) as well as everything else on the table (some of the stuff for years). I did not even realize the runner had little roosters on it....I could have use this for Shelia's rooster party!!! *sadface....I did not know...*
I still have summer stuff out all over the house. We still have one more week of summer {I am not in denial}. ;P

The salt & pepper and sugar & creamer are from MacKenzie-Childs. I bought the candlestick from Pier 1 years ago, and the runner was a gift. The pumpkin is new, and I love the way it smells!
I love the crocheted flowers on this runner.
This is the part of the runner I saw when I opened it, and I thought it was for fall because of the colors, so I put it away for a few weeks.
I already had the napkins and rings. I think they match the runner pretty well!

Lovin' your great table runner-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteHi Jill, That is a cute runner, especially the rooster on the end. I bought a candle last year from bath and bodyworks called creamy pumpkin and the smell is still there a year later. I don't light candles(allergic) so they last forever in my home.
ReplyDeleteThe runner is wonderful! So cheerful! And I really like the salt & pepper...so colorful. Makes me think I'd better start thinking fall a bit more!

You make me feel more Christmas everyday Ricki! And that Starbucks pumpkin latte, I've been hearing a lot about that. Unfortunately we don't have that here in the Philippines. Have a great day!
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful table,, that would make such a pleasant place to eat.My table usually has paints, rocks, and who knows what else on it. I'm neat, so its organized clutter,
ReplyDeleteNo room for denial here in Michigan! Last night it dipped to 39 degrees. I have put away all my summer stuff:( The only thing summery is in my bathroom which is seashore decor, so I had to keep my starfish, mermaid picture, sea glass, and shells. But the rest of my house is in deep colors.
ReplyDeleteYou table is beautiful! I love the runner, as it would match my house!! I will have to check out Pier One for a stuffed pumpkin. I love anything that makes my home smell good and cozy in the colder weather.
I just love that runner. You know me and roosters. Enjoy your last week of summer. We still have some hot weather ahead according to the weatherman.
ReplyDeleteI like your new header.
