I want to wallpaper a feature wall in our art studio, and I would appreciate your help! I have narrowed my choices down to five. I will be papering the wall that will have the antique armoire relocated from our dining room on it. You can see the armoire here. All wallpapers are from Anthropologie.
Please leave a comment with your favorite wallpaper for the studio. Explain why you like it best, and if I pick the wallpaper you commented about, I will enter you in a drawing for these Anthropologie prizes:
Please only pick one or you will be disqualified! Thanks so much for your input. My followers are the *best* :D

The first because peonies are undeniably awesome. I can't pass by without admiring them.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't pick the last. It reminds me of this awful wallpaper we had in our bathroom growing up. I will never forget that wallpaper.
Agreed...peonies! They are soft and yet pop with color. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI like the first one. It's not going to overpower you when you get "lots" of it on the wall. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Watercolor Peony! It is so your color pallet!and I think will flow with your entire home!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to choose one but I hope you use the Flora and Fauna...very sweet and different! What wonderful patterns you've found! Thanks! ♥
ReplyDeleteWatercolor Peonies! I like it's softness.
ReplyDeleteHey Girl, I agree with everyone else, the Peonies it is. light and airy, contemporary yet a timeless lovely floral. I took your home tour and I'm in love with your dining room! Can't wait to see your paper up! xoxo Debra
ReplyDeleteThe first one is my fave and I LOVE your new header. It is so you!
ReplyDeleteI like the salix best because of the aqua hues. They are calming and happy. Love your new header. Cheers
ReplyDeleteI like Flora and Fauna. It must be because of the birds--I love birds. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your decision!
Pam
Another tough decision. Watercolor peony reminds me of you (with all your MacKenzie Childs goodies). But...I'm going to pick Mansfield Court. I just love the vintage look of it.
ReplyDeleteI pick Flora and fauna. It is the one paper that I instantly liked to look at. Birds and flowers and in a nice calm feeling design yet interesting to look at. I love the simplicity of the colors. The design fells vintage yet modern.
ReplyDeleteHugs to YOU

Hi Ricki Jill - wallpaper from Anthroplogie...wow that must cost a fortune! Anyways, my first choice is the first image, watercolor peony and my second choice would be Flora and Fauna. They all look like great choices though for your armoire. Can't wait which one you pick and to see the finished product. How fun!

Well first I was loving Mansfield Court because the pops of red are pretty. Then I stared at Flora & Fauna for awhile....Think I choose Mansfield Court! Can't wait to see what you choose.
ReplyDeleteI've never looked at wallpaper at Anthro. We have a bathroom that needs to be updated. I'll go over and have a look. :)
I like the old world feel of "Mansfield Court". I also like the pencil look of the drawings in between.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your re-do!! I voted too!! But I wanted to pick 3 choices!!!!
Good Luck!
xxDaniella
Oh my favorite is the first one Watercolor Peony! It is s pretty and after looking at your armoire it just looked like they would compliment each other.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually hard to choose Ricki ;-) they all look beautiful to me. But among them, I love the Water Color Peony. The light and refreshing print would complement the homey atmosphere. Light colors also provide an image of simple elegance, neatness and orderliness. I hope I was able to help my friend.:)
ReplyDeleteI'm voting peony, I love the colors
ReplyDeleteCarol
Watercolor Peony because it made my heart leapt! But this is your room so stop over thinking it (I am so guilty of this) and go with your gut reaction. The room will turn out great.
ReplyDeleteHi Ricki, I will go for the first one, how original:-)
ReplyDeleteI love it and I think it would be great with your armoire!and they are your colours or not:-)
greetings and good luck with making your choices.
I liked the first two until I saw Flora and Fauna. That's my pick. My eyes keep going back to that. I agree with another poster that said vintage but modern. It really makes you look more than once to see what's there. Can't wait to see pics of your studio when it's done.

Um difficult but I think the Floral and Fauna would go very well with a retro Cottage Look which is the one I voted for.
ReplyDeleteI have also at last added your blog badge to my Badge Collection page. :)
seriously gorgeous armoire {from an armoire luver!} i can't see it against anything other than your 'watercolor peony' paper ~ gorgeous! it picks up the colour of the one tiny diamond looking shape and will be a luving longer design that you won't easily tire of... can hardly wait to see completion ")) FuN! yay ")
ReplyDeleteHi Ricki Jill,
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your art studio when it's done! Based on the style of the armoire, I would choose the Watercolor Peony paper. I would paint the walls the softest hint of icy blue/green and then enjoy your white work surfaces. I'd pull in green toile fabric with splashes of pink and yellow. Oh, I can picture it now! I think the Watercolor Peony paper would blend in nicely with the rest of your home's decor. So many pretty choices, though. I love the wallpapers and a feature wall is a great idea.

I see I'm the minority here, but for some reason I like Salix. I think I just like that it makes a statement but is not overpowering. Flora and Fauna would probably be my second choice. :) It is kind of edgy and elegant and whimsical at the same time!
ReplyDeleteMY Favorite wallpaper is: Watercolor Peony! Looking forward to seeing your art studio. My craft area is in serious messy mode. It's not cute either even when clean. But it is functional.
ReplyDeleteThe first one! Mainly because... it's PINK! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't even have to think about this. Hands down my favorite is Flora & Fauna. It might be a little much for a whole room but for one wall it's perfect. I didn't know Anthro had wallpaper...
ReplyDeleteHi Ricki Jill...
ReplyDeleteOh how fun. I have to tell you as I scrolled down, and saw the choices, you had me at Flora and Fauna.
With the coloring of the armoire, I think the wallpaper would really pop behind it. I could definitely create in an area with this gorgeous colored wall paper. You could hear the birds singing and see and smell the flowers blooming. I mean what more could a gal need for creating, right?
Can't wait to see your choice sweet friend. Hope you have a great week. Many hugs and much love from Phoenix, Sherry
What great wallpapers, I love anything with a black accent so my favorite is the Flora&Fona, thanks for having a great giveaway, stop by and take a peek at mine! It closes Monday, Aug. 1st!
ReplyDeleteRondell
Of course the peonies! The subtle color of the peonies will make it pop with this beautiful wall paper. There is no other choice!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so gorgeous! Looks like the Peony one is the most popular - which I am leaning more for - but HOWEVER....don't you just love those HOWEVERS..??......I do like the Flora and Fauna. There is just something playful and vintageyvibegoodness about it. Now that is a new word in my decorating mantra book. ha.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with this giveaway! Anthropology is such a funky and fun place! Now if only Mr. Bromstad could lend us HIS thoughts....or even Sarah Richardson (my favorite!).
