Happy Last Day of June, My Lovelies!
I want to ask my American followers: How do you plan on celebrating America 250?
We will be celebrating at Lake Martin. I think it is going to be very hot this weekend, which means it will be perfect for swimming and making homemade ice cream! :D
Today I'm sharing our dining room tablescape styled for America 250.
The banner is supposed to be on the wall, but since our painter has been in and out, I placed it on top of my table runner.
I ordered the Red, White, and Blue Rose Banner from a favorite Etsy store.
Our American national flower is the red rose.
I purchased the white peonies and red garden roses from Trader Joe's.
I've been purchasing most of my flowers from them lately.
The plate stacks include our Wedgwood Rosedale dinner plates, and Royal Stafford Dipped Toile Blue salad plates.
The star-shaped plate is the latest from MacKenie-Childs.
It's a commemorative star plate for America 250.
The napkin set is my favorite thing on the table.

Gorgeous!! I wish we had a Trader Joe's. I purchased the MC plate and love it. Your whole table is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOur state has a huge weekend 250 events happening right across the river with a huge ferris wheel much like the one on the national mall, food & craft vendors, and concerts all weekend long, plus light shows and fireworks on and over the Capitol, directly across the river from us. I'm really looking forward to seeing much of it! A couple.miles down river is our annual Regatta festival. That one's too people-y for me!
Enjoy your weekend at the lake!
Such a lovely table setting for you to enjoy for the Fourth. I love your choice of linens and flowers and of course the checks. Have fun at the lake and stay cool. We'll be in "Hotlanta!"
ReplyDeleteA beautiful table for America’s 250th birthday. Like Rita said, I wish we had a Trader Joe’s! Every trip I make to Birmingham includes a stop at Trader Joe’s. Wishing you a lovely 4th at the lake!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful RJ. I think your napkins are my faves too. Happy 250th Birthday America. Wishing you a great 4th of July. Hugs. Kris
