Prayers for Connecticut

Friday, December 14, 2012

I haven't accomplished much today from watching the coverage of the tragic shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.  But I have prayed for the families and communities affected. I guess that's something...probably the most important thing I could do today.  I also can't stop hugging my fifteen year old since she got off the school bus.

"God is our refuge and  strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble."
Psalm 46:1
Praying this scripture for the victim's families

Until next time...

Blessings!

  1. Ricki Jill There are times that the Angels cry with us and this is one of those. My hearts and prayers go out to these families.

  2. It is so sobering, isn't it? You don't want to live in fear, but it is sometimes hard to find that balance.

  6. Thank you for the Psalms quotation. Friday was a day of crying and praying. It is an unbearable thing any time of the year, but most especially now. So much potential now unrealized, so much bravery from those teachers. Tragic beyond words.
