Shanley Belle's Senior Prom is tonight. I thought I would share a few pictures. This year's them is Titanic. Shanley attends the Alabama School of Fine Arts, and the students are very creative with their prom themes. The upper mezzanine will resemble the Titanic before it sank, and the lower level will resemble the ballroom on the ocean floor (I hear there will be eerie blue lights, too).
Here are some pictures of the prom tickets:

Shanley wanted to wear a sea foam green dress. I did her hair and make-up.

Hopefully I can post more pictures of Shanley and her friends from the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
Until next time...
Blessings!

Oh how lovely this young lady is..I love her face, her dress and I envy her youth! Shanley is a beautiful name and it fits her beauty as well. You must be so proud!...
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely young lady!
ReplyDeleteThe theme is so very creative. :) Since we spend six months of every year at sea, we avoid the ship-sinking stuff. ;) Seriously, on the ship one of the photographer's back drops is of the main staircase of the Titanic. Go figure!
I hope she has a wonderful evening. She'll remember Senior Prom forever.
Hugs,
Lois
I hope she has a magical evening... I love the tickets and the props... So romantic...
ReplyDeleteThose eyes, oh my...your daughter is beautiful! Lovely dress :)
ReplyDeleteI hope someone takes and posts pics of the two story decoration- that sounds very, very cool!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a pretty gal! That color really suits her. The chiffon overlay does have an undersea-anemone sort of vibe to it. Well done. :D
To cute! Your daughter and the dress, that dress is to die for! I love that it is short. What fun for everyone, when my son was going to proms and dances it was such an exciting time. When he was a senior he was in a Christian school that did not believe in dancing, so I did the prom! The theme was putting on the ritz, I rented the space, got the DJ, did invites and the whole 9 yards. Oh look you got me rambling going down memory lane!
