Epic.
Failure!
I love the shape and size of these two trays. The paint is a bit lacking (in several places), however.
So here's an idea! I can paint them with spray paint and they will look like new! The only problem is I had a technical difficulty. The trays looked fuzzy, like they were wearing sweaters. I tried to take a picture, but you could not see it very well.
My daughter and I had to go out of town, so Super Hubbie to the rescue!
I love my "like new" trays.
I think I shall rest, drink some tea, and read because I have a cold.
I also want to thank y'all for voting in my poll. Most of you want me to paint my light fixture aqua. After the mishap with the trays, I am a bit scared to touch another can of spray paint. Maybe my husband can supervise the project!
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill
I love the color of your trays and the shape of them too. I have a chair I want to refinish and paint this summer before the heat and humidity. I'm thinking of painting in aqua type color.

These are very pretty, Ricki. I really like them. The colors are very springy too..Christine
ReplyDeleteThe trays look really good. Before The Man ever turned me loose with spray paint, he felt the need to demonstrate just how to do it. The two things that "stuck" with me are not to be too close (can't be too far away either) & keep the can moving back & forth (side to side) in a steady motion so that you aren't saturating the item too much. It seems to work best to do a couple of thinner coats rather than trying to cover it all at once. You probably already know all this, but just in case..... Just get back on the horse & try again. LOL!!!

The trays look super cute! I love the color choices. I had that fuzzy thing happen to a bookshelf that I spray painted! It's so weird! I love aqua...if you get the cajones to do the light, do aqua! :)
