It is open to our keeping room, which is nice because I can visit with everyone while I prepare meals.
We have a small eat-in area, too.
This is the picture I used for painting.....
This picture for my blog when I share recipes.
Since this is where we spend most of our time, this is where we put-up our Christmas tree.
This is the desk where I prepare menus for the week, work on my blog, and where the kids do their homework. I love having a desk in my kitchen!
Don't forget to join-in on the linky party over at The House in the Roses.
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill
Your kitchen is gorgeous and I love that it's so open and the big sink, the windows all around your dining area. Then there's your sweet painting of it. Too cute...I love it.

How very beautiful! And having all those windows is glorious!
ReplyDeleteYour home is so lovely.
Wow, I spied all your MacKenzie Childs products. I am a lover of their stuff too. Check out my MacKenzie Childs inspired things. I have many more to post. Terry
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I inherited three sets of silver and two sets of China. So we registered for Crystal and MacKenzie-Childs when we married 22 years ago. It was a young company back then, and everyone kept asking which pattern we wanted. When I said that I wanted to mix them up, everyone thought I was crazy! Folks have bought us pieces over the years as gifts. Luckily I had girls, and I have enjoyed playing with our collection with them!
ReplyDeleteI love your sink and all those windows! What a cheery kitchen to cook and gather in.
ReplyDeleteWow-your kitchen is so pretty. I also love how you put your Christmas tree right where you spend your time-that makes so much sense.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Candy, Terry, Carol, Julia and Rosie, for your kind comments. our windows overlook woods, so we do not see any human neighbors :D
ReplyDeleteAnd, yep. Our Christmas tree is right in the middle of our kitchen and keeping room. I used to be one of those folks who put the tree in the middle of the living room window where all the neighbors could see it, but we never did (not that there is anything wrong with that...it's just that we could never enjoy it).
I stopped by after visiting Cielo and I loved what I saw. Your kitchen is wonderful - I love the big windows and the way it all flows into your keeping room. I will be back to read more.

I looked at this post earlier and didn't have time to leave a comment, but I just wanted you to know how pretty I think your kitchen is. The painting you did of it is amazing - so warm and homey. The Christmas tree is so nice to have in there as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful kitchen you have! Everything about it is so inviting! Love the windows with the view. I also liked your mantel at Christmas with the snowballs..very cute!
ReplyDeleteI just love all the light you have coming in your kitchen and keeping room - such a wonderful space. The first white kitchen is one of my absolute favorites - all the elements I love!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the product name and style of the countertop? I have white cabinets and am trying to decide on counter top. I love the farmhouse sink with the white cabinets.
