Foiled Again!

The kind folks over at Forstall Art Center gave me little small samples of Ampersand claybord and gessobord.  So I was thinking: what could I paint on them for practice and (of course) for fun?  I know!  Halloween miniature chocolate bars!

Look!  They can be painted "actual size" on the little samples:

Later, I went over to one of my favorite websites, Daily Paintworks, and saw this adorable painting by Raymond Logan:

Isn't it fun!  You can follow Raymond at his blog and also read his reviews of other daily painters here. You can rush over to Daily Paintworks, click on the Tootsie Roll painting and bid on it. Like now before someone else buys it ;)

*sighs*  I should have known better.  Chocolate never lasts in our household with three girls living here.

Foiled again!!!

Until next time...

  1. Hi: I linked over because of a comment you left that you have a westie. We love our westie boy. How wonderful that you are a painter as well. The tootsie roll is just adorable and your blueberries do look yummy!

  2. Thanks for your comment, Candy! I wish I could take credit for the Tootsie Roll, but it was painted by the super-talented Raymond Logan. I love all Westies! There is one in our neighborhood, and she is a diva! She loves to go for walks, and she has her on stroller that one of her "minions" pushes for her, LOL.
