Forstall Art Jamboree

I love autumn, and one reason why I love it is because Forstall Art Center holds its big annual sale the last weekend in October.  It is time to stock-up, baby!

All Ampersand canvases are on sale buy-one-get-one free!!!  I have been using their claybords and gessobords lately, and they are wonderful!  I also purchased a small birch artist panel that I will need to prime first before painting.  I usually have fine details in my art, so the 30% off Princeton 0 and 2/0 paint brushes are a steal!

I am a sucker for Gamblin paint.  I have always coveted my friend Ellen's Brown Pink (although she shares).  So I bought Brown Pink and Phthalo Turquoise.  Aren't the colors yummy!

I had my daughter with me, and she was so excited about all the freebies. We were given colored pencils made from recycled newspaper,  tiny Ambersand claybords and gessobords, and little Strathmore drawing pads.

But we could not resist these adorable, collectible erasers:

It's time to get make-up on hippies and vampires.  Trick-or-Treating is tonight in our neighborhood. Is your neighborhood celebrating Halloween tonight or tomorrow night?

Until next time,

Ricki Jill
