My Christmas Wish List for Mr. Art @ Home, and Advent Day 7

Monday, December 7, 2015

Happy Advent Season, My Lovelies!  This year on my Advent Calendar I want to share Christmas traditions from around the world along with a daily scripture reading.

In Caracas, Venezuela, worshipers roller skate to early morning mass during the Christmas Holiday Season.  The streets are closed to vehicles for the safety of the skaters.  I would have loved this tradition when I was a little girl!

Matthew 2:1-2

The Magi Visit the Messiah

2 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

Mr. Art @ Home has requested a Christmas List from yours truly, so here it is!

Fireside cardigan from Sundance

I would love this watercolor crayon set from Dick Blick.

Of course I always ask for books!

Finally, this adorable mini pie plate from MacKenzie-Childs

What made your Christmas Wish List this year?  Tell me in the Comments section!

Until next time...

Blessings!

  6. Oh, I would have joined you skating when I was younger too. I honestly agree we must be soul sisters. I love the cardigan you picked out. I hope you get everything on your wish list...I believe you have been a good girl this year. ;P My wish list is my new dishes and they have arrived. I have washed and placed three of the four box sets in the cupboard, only one box will be under the tree for me to unwrap. I preferred it this way less chance of the dishware to be destroyed. I can't wait to post it. *shriek*
