Advent Day 13

Sunday, December 13, 2015

Happy Advent Season, My Lovelies!  This year on my Advent Calendar I want to share Christmas traditions from around the world along with a daily scripture reading.

Today's tradition is from Australia.  It's the beginning of summer during the Christmas season, and children are out of school from mid-December until mid-February.  On boxing day, Aussies enjoy visiting friends and having barbeques on the beach.  What a fun way to celebrate the season!

Hebrews 8:6

6 But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.

Until next time...

Blessings!

  1. Yes RJ, the Aussies do enjoy a fun season. With this warm/hot December we are having we have been enjoying the bbq too, although it doesn't feel like Christmas! I'm enjoying all of your advent calendar layouts and scriptures. This is a great way to post during December.
    Enjoy your Sunday………...

  2. Someone told me they felt sorry for me that I didn't have snow at Christmas. But probably less than half of the world celebrates a white Christmas.

  3. Here we all would like a nice not too hot Christmas Day, many of us visit other family on Boxing Day or spend the day lazing around recovering from Christmas Day
