Happy Advent Season, My Lovelies! This year on my Advent Calendar I want to share Christmas traditions from around the world along with a daily scripture reading.
Today's tradition is from Australia. It's the beginning of summer during the Christmas season, and children are out of school from mid-December until mid-February. On boxing day, Aussies enjoy visiting friends and having barbeques on the beach. What a fun way to celebrate the season!

Yes RJ, the Aussies do enjoy a fun season. With this warm/hot December we are having we have been enjoying the bbq too, although it doesn't feel like Christmas! I'm enjoying all of your advent calendar layouts and scriptures. This is a great way to post during December.

Someone told me they felt sorry for me that I didn't have snow at Christmas. But probably less than half of the world celebrates a white Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHere we all would like a nice not too hot Christmas Day, many of us visit other family on Boxing Day or spend the day lazing around recovering from Christmas Day
