My favorite Christmas carol seems to change from year to year.  This year "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" is my favorite.  What's your favorite Christmas Carol?

Matthew 2:3-6  New International Version (NIV)

3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. 5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:

6 “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
    are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
    who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

Until next time…

Blessings!

  3. I have a horrible singing voice, but when our son was a baby, I would sing to him while I rocked him late at night. Silent Night is one of the few songs that I know well so I sang it to him frequently - not just at Christmas. The song always makes me think of him.

  5. Although there are many old and newer Christmas songs I like, my absolute favorite has to be O Holy Night. Love it!
