Welcome to My Happy List!!!

This week I only have one item on the list.

Shelley is a member of the Birmingham Interscholastic Equestrian Team, and they competed this past weekend in Atlanta at an IEA Horse Show.  There were around fifteen teams from Georgia, Alabama, and Florida competing at Four Seasons Farm.  The horse show was very well run!  I am so impressed with how sweet the girls are on this team.  They're all a joy to be around! Clair and Pam are excellent coaches, and I'm also enjoying getting to know the team moms.  :D

The girls have to arrive at the barn at 6:30 AM and prep the horses for the show.

Shelley exits the arena with a fourth place ribbon (they're white).
You can tell she's happy...there were about a dozen riders in her class!

  23. Oh how fun that Shelley was in a horse show! I love horses, and wish I had one growing up. I rode a wild one up at my brother-in-law's ranch years ago and got the ride of my life. I love the picture of her watching the other riders before her class.

    Love,
