Musical Monday: Head On

Musical Mondays

Good evening, Lovelies!  I wanted to get my Musical Monday post live before Tuesday. ;P   It has been an upsetting weekend.  I was a wee bit under the weather, and a college friend appears to be losing her fight with cancer.  While I was trying to recover on the sofa this weekend, I watched a couple of movies.  The Perks of Being a Wallflower stood out because of the soundtrack.

Check out these tracks:

1. It Could Be Another Change (The Samples)
2. Come On Eileen (Dexy's Midnight Runners)
3. Tugboat (Galaxy 500)
4. Temptation (New Order)
5. Evensong (The Innocence Mission)
6. Asleep (the Smiths)
7. Low (Cracker)
8. Teenage Riot (Sonic Youth)
9. Dear God (XTC)
10. Pearly Dewdrops' Drops (Cocteau Twins)
11. Charlie's Last Letter (Michael Brook)
12. Heroes (David Bowie)

The Smith's Asleep?  I can't even go there right now.

I have been loving a song lately on Alt Nation.  I hope you like it!  Please watch it!!!

Man Man
Head On

This is what happens when a bunch of nineteen fifties film clips decide to be cheesy public service announcements when they grew-up!

Please come back tomorrow night for My Happy List!  It will be live around 6:00 CDT.

Until next time...

Blessings!

  5. Great selections....I liked the Man Man song and it was new to me, of course! I am truly sorry to hear about your college friend, and I hope things turn around for her. *hugs* to you both!

Thanks for stopping by both of my blogs for Music Monday. The Girls at the Rock Show blog was brand new, and this weekend, I am trying to finish up the blogger account so that I can visit sites as that blog, too, instead of just me. Haha.
