I've been painting a lot this week and enjoying the sunshine the past couple of days.  But it's almost time to batten down the hatches before the storms hit!

I recently purchased this adorable Flora Doora from Jane.  Her name is On The Dot, and I think she's the perfect container for my neighbor's peonies. Peonies and Flora Dooras are two of my favorite things.  Did you know these little bags are lined in plastic and can hold water!  :D

Now I'm off to get my containers planted before the storms and rain come. Yep, it's true!  Finally we'll have some pretty flowers to enjoy unless they get crushed by hailstones.

Please come back tomorrow for Literary Friday in the morning and Friday Confessional in the afternoon!

Until next time...

Blessings!
Ricki Jill

  1. I have heard of Flora Dora girls, but never seen a Flora Dora for flowers - too cute.

It shouldn't be stormy weather now. I am indoors because it is cloudy and cold today.

  9. I've never heard of Flora Dooras. They are adorable. I learned something new. Love your pictures. Hope all is well with the storms. We had some last night and I forgot my deck umbrella was open and I found it lying face down next to the table. I was surprised a window didn't break or something.

  18. Yay for finally getting the flowers planted! ;)
I love this decor idea (and much better than a vase on a table, which I would probably break). I need more iron scrollwork hooks on the walls. :D
