Fresh Cut Friday: Roses

Thursday, June 6, 2013

It's time to join Liz @ Rose Vignettes for Fresh Cut Friday!   June's flower: the rose.

We've been busy lately, so I decided to keep it simple this month with only two types of flowers:  Lulu Dark Roses and a pretty green viburnum.  I placed the arrangement on our kitchen table.

We had a few moments of sunshine this morning, so I took these photos quickly!

The meaning of flowers:  Viburnum means, "I die if neglected."  The deep pink rose means, "Thank-you for being in my life."

Resources:

Salt and pepper shaker set:  MacKenzie-Childs Taylor Collection, Aurora pattern
Placemats:  Otomi crafted, from Sol Jaguar, Mesa de Artesanos, Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Glass vase:  Michael's

Until next time...

Blessings!
Ricki Jill
