Musical Monday: Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov

Monday, May 27, 2013

Last week I enjoyed reading Sight Reading by Daphne Kalotay while listening to the playlist on the author's blog.  You can see the playlist here.

I love classical music, and sometimes I need to listen to it when I'm stressed. I was definitely stressed last week!

Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade

I hope you've enjoyed your Memorial Day Weekend!  We're at the beach, but we'll be home soon.

Until next time...

Blessings!

  2. Oh how I miss going to orchestra concerts. I absolutely loved them. Especially City High's. They are exceptional and have won 3 Grammys for high school orchestra. What a great piece you picked.

  5. Yay! I love this piece, and most of the Russian/Czech composers (though Shostakovitch is still my favorite).

  6. I was in band all through junior high and high school, so classical music definitely brings me back to my younger days

  11. That was beautiful. I need to make a classical playlist for crazy mornings. That really helped calm my mood this morning.
