Photobucket

This month, Alison wants us to share our gardens.  I am participating only because I like Alison  ;P  We really do no have a very pretty garden because of our sloped property (we are hugging the side of a mountain).  I do look forward to visiting with everyone else who links up. I am prepared to be very envious of your pretty (level) gardens!  :D

Welcome to our front garden!

P1040519

We have a retaining wall with knockout roses and Leland cyprus trees on the left side of our property.

P1040523

Mr. Art @ Home likes as much lawn as possible.  He does not want anything out front to soften our retaining wall, either, because we would have to take up some of the grass!

P1040524

Our sidewalk steps are flanked with succulent-filled urns.

See the grade of our property!

You can tell that I love petunias and million bells!

I have had lots of success with succulents!

I hope you will join Alison at The Polo House for Favorites on the First!

Until next time...

  12. Ricki Jill, Your home and lawn are beautiful. Everything is so lush and green and the flowers are stunning. All my flowers have bloomed and withered. I love a home built on a slope with different levels. Our last home before moving here was on a slope and I loved it. Your roses with the cyprus as a backdrop, gorgeous! What a way to welcome your guests. Thanks for sharing RJ, have a great weekend.
