Tangerine Tango in Our Family Room

Sunday, May 6, 2012

I added a wee bit of Tangerine Tango to the family room.  I moved our hanging lamp to the art studio (more on that later), but I still felt like that corner of the room needed a lamp. Mr. Art @ Home made me another pipe and butcher block lamp, and I found a great lamp shade on sale at Anthropologie.  :D  I like the color.  Speaking of Tangerine Tango, have you read my Pantone Colors of the Year post and voted in my poll?

  9. Ok, so...confession time...I really really dislike orange. But I like what you've done with this lampshade. I think because it isn't blocky or bold, so the pattern makes it pallatible for me. ;)

  12. Great lamp. I love the shape of that shade! I like orange a lot and love it paired with pink in sweaters, but I haven't used it in decorating. I wonder how it will be to live with? It provides a great pop of color in your room.
