Blogger Has Misplaced My Picasa

Photobucket

I cannot find Picasa on my Dashboard.  I did not even know that I had a dashboard.  If I don't have a dashboard, then maybe Blogger does not know I have a Picasa...or something....

But in any event, Linda and Connie are highly amused by my predicament.  Dastardly Blogger!

(Just kidding Blogger trolls....just having a little fun here....I would never make a Blogger voodoo doll and put a little gris gris magic on it...nope not me!)  ;P

Ummmm....anyone care to enlighten me on dashboards, Picasa, cell phone number requests, and other *scareh* Blogger shenanigans?

:/

Until next time...

{still confused in Alabama}

:D

  3. I only know a few things-- just basic things. So Blogger and Picasa are both in the Google universe. When you upload photos to Blogger, they are simultaneously being stored in a Picasa album (or should be). The dashboard is simply the control panel of any of these tools. To access your Picasa albums, you can go to https://picasaweb.google.com/home if you are already logged in to your google account. I have no idea what this may mean for you other than a headache and frustration. Hopefully it is temporary.

  4. I know there is a dashboard. It is somewhere in the "design" tab at the top. However, I have never seen Picasa anywhere on my blog. I just have an icon on my desktop for it. Sorry, you know me and the Blogger agreed to try to be civil to each other after I broke up with it last time. So I know if I ask for help, it will pretend not to hear me and remove all of my followers again.
Good luck! And happy mother's day my friend!!

  5. Oh Ricki Jill I hope it is soon found!

I have a praise in that our home has officially sold. I now have just 32 to days to find a home, pack and move. A little pressure? :) We put a bid on a home yesterday that will give "The Money Pit" a run for it's money.
I wanted to let you know that I so appreciate all of your support and kind comments and if I am absent the next few weeks from your blog please know I will return soon.

For whomever you nurture, have a happy and blessed Mother's Day.

  7. Oh my, I sure hope you find your photos. I agree with Smallgood's comment about the "Google Universe". Do you use Google Chrome as a browser? That may help.

    Good luck,
    Shasta

  8. You're so funny! But...losing things with Blogger is NOT. I don't know what to tell you except that I have fewer problems using Google Chrome. It seems to work better for me ~ and I'm no techie.

Have a very happy Mother's Day!

  9. So did you know where your dashboard was and now it isn't there or did you never know where to find it. In case it is the latter then just click on the 'B' in the upper left hand corner of your blog along the Blogger bar and it will take you to your dashboard (if it is the former and it has disappeared then you need a lot more help than I can give you). As for Picasa - it is exactly like smallgoods said. I never go on it unless there is something in particular I need as I much prefer Picmonkey etc, but I have been on before so know it is there along with all my blog pictures. Not sure if that is any help. Blogging can be seriously annoying when you can't find things.

Hope you have a lovely Mother's Day.

    cheers,
    Grace

  10. Is Picasa the one that closed down? I don't use it so I don't remember but I know one of the photo thingies went away.

  11. I don't have Picasa on my Blogger dashboard. I'm not much help. I use Picasa all the time for basic editing though...I have finally recovered from losing Picnik. Don't even miss it now! Who knew blogging would be so frustrating?

  12. Are you using the old version of blogger? If so, that might be what is confusing for you. As mentioned above, click on the B for Blogger which should take you there but even so, if you google picasa you will find picasa albums and you can go in through there as well.
