Please join Mamarazzi @ Dandelion Wishes for My Happy List.

Once I got over my stomach virus, I had a fantastic week:  I. Am. So.....HAPPY!

My Happy List

1.   Thursday a week ago I met Bonnie from The Boatwright Family.  Y'all, she rocks out loud!  She is so sweet, funny, and fun!  I wish we lived in the same city.  She gave me this darling "to-go" mug due to my coffee and tea addiction:

Spending time with bloggy friends makes me so happy!

2.   My best friend from high school (and beyond) is moving home after being away for over ten years.  I.  Am.  HAPPY!  I cannot wait for Susan and her family to get settled.  Having my best friend move home makes me happy!

3.   The art studio is finished!  You can read about it here.

Finished projects make me happy!

4.   I am relaxing this weekend with this:

and this:

The first book I checked out at the library, and if you are into using vintage and antique items in unique ways, this is the book for you!  We do not have many good resources around here for vintage stuff, but the images are so lovely I will use them for my art.  I bought The Paris Wife 45% off. Score!

Great library books and discounted books make me very happy!

5.   I won!  I won a prize from Mamarazzi.  :D  Bloggy prizes in the mail make me a verra happy lass.

I am resting this weekend because one week from today we will be moving Shanley Belle into her dorm.

{Don't expect a Happy List from me next week.  But I will think about it tomorrow, not today, as Scarlett O'Hara would say.}

Don't forget to share your happy here.

Until next time...

Blessings!
Ricki Jill

  3. Oh Ricki Jill Sweetie...
What a beautiful post. I love how you are spending you weekend. Sounds like you need a little rest as well. Stomach virus is the worst. Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

Love your coffee/tea mug. These are the best for carrying along with. I love my tea in the morning, never liked coffee, but give me my tea. Red is my favorite color, so this mug makes me happy to.

So does that gorgeous red flower sweetie. Is that not beautiful? You are so talented. I am popping over to take a look at your studio.

I will be checking into these two books. Rediscovered Treasures, sounds wonderful and The Paris Wife, the title intrigues me. I am going to see if I can get the Paris Wife for my Kindle. I can read along during the day, breaks and lunch. Keep you posted.

Thanks for the beautiful share today. I can't wait to see what you won. Have a gorgeous weekend sweetie. Many hugs and much love from Phoenix, Sherry

  4. Is the Paris Wife a novel or home decor book? Confused am I. I know this will be a tough week for you. Hope all is well and you enjoy your weekend with Shanley before she heads to school.

  5. I love that rose painting! And that you've got another gorgeous mug for your collection. Best of luck moving your girl- I remember (and do not miss) those days. I hope her dorm experience is a positive one....from experience, though, make sure she's well armed with hand sanitizer! ;)

Seriously, enjoy your weekend and week!

  8. Cute coffee mug. I love coffee and tea...so I know what you mean. I'm glad your art studio is finished, and I can't get enough of that red rose painting. The book 'Rediscovered Treasures' sounds like a good one. I'll have to check it out now that I'm getting my new pair of reading glasses. Beautiful Saturday to you,
