Saturday, we visited Eclectic Pottery in Eclectic, Alabama.  I hope you Alabama and Georgia girls who summer at Lake Martin will visit Sarah McCullough and peruse her lovely pottery. Here are a few of Sarah's creations.

These berry bowls are practical as well as pretty:

I really like the chip and dip bowl:

I am loving these mugs with the Eclectic Pottery stamp:

Eclectic Pottery also sells art made by other artists:

I bought one of the Eclectic Pottery mugs.  I think I need to go back and buy three more: one for every family member!

Until next time...

  2. I would have a lot of trouble getting out of there. I love things that are obviously handmade. The birdhouses are the prettiest I have ever seen and the pottery is stunning. You are lucky to have been there.

  6. I love the uniqueness of that pottery. You most definitely need one of those wonderful mugs for each family member. Heck, if I lived down there, I'd be getting "for the new house" -- ya' know that's how I'm justifying any purchases right now. LOL!!! Also, thanks for sharing that story about the dogwood. I've never heard that before.

  7. Neat stuff- I especially love the funky shaped plate/bowl above the mugs. I'm all about the original. Thanks for sharing your find. :)

  8. looks great and I think it is very hard to make, i tried to make some mugs and plates last winter, but i'am not neatly and precise enough to make this, so I think it is difficult and really beautiful
