Beth @ Living a Goddess Life introduced me to a neat blog for readers called Should Be Reading.  This site hosts a Teaser Linky Party, and I thought it would be fun to participate. You randomly post two sentences from what you are currently reading (no spoilers) along with the book's title and author.

Here is my teaser:

" 'My job is to gather traditions that have lasted.  And I'm particularly interested in matchmaking.' "

from The Matchmaker of Kenmare by Frank Delaney

Join me for Literary Friday and more on The Matchmaker of Kenmare.

Until next time...

Happy reading!

  1. What a great idea! Here would be mine:
They were gone a long time and Hilda sat shivering and staring into the darkness, trying to take in the colossal horror that had just been revealed in her hearing. She was then truly in the midst of spies!
The Red Signal, by who else than Grace Livingston Hill!

  3. Oh I really need to take some time for myself to read a good book! I mean, just for the fun of it, and not study etc. Also just loved your tutorial on the jugs, Ricky, hope you're having a wonderful day, xoxo tami

  4. Interesting. I do not know if you are familiar with CBC radio, a Canadian culture icon, anyway, they had an interview this morning with an author who wrote on the power of a sentence. It was really interesting and makes me think of this. Let me know if you want the link.
