Impromptu Dreamcakes Party!

Thursday, December 2, 2010

I am joining Rhoda at Southern Hospitality and Julia at Hooked on Houses for Christmas vignette linky parties.  I am also linking to Courtney at French Country Cottage, too.

We have had a stressful week.  So I decided that I will throw an impromptu Dreamcakes party for the girls after school.  Why not?  We might be naughty and make it our dinner.  What is a Dreamcake? Dreamcakes is a wonderful bakery in Homewood, Alabama that bakes the most delicious and pretty cupcakes.  With names like Curious George, Over the Moon, and Just Because, choosing your cupcakes to take home is a very fun activity!

I think I shall serve tea and hot chocolate with them.

Yummy!

This one might be mine.  It is called The Lunchroom Lady.  It is a cupcake with strawberry jam filling and peanut butter icing.

Yep!  I am sitting here!

Our house is very small, and I do not have any furniture in my entry (not enough room), and I do not have a lot of "surface areas" for Christmas vignettes.  I do like to decorate my kitchen and dining room tables, and enjoy them often with delicious food during the holidays.

Debbie @ Debbiedoo's Blogging and Blabbing is hosting a linky party for Blogger Newbies who have blogged for less than six months or who have less than 100 followers.  You can link to the party here.

I hope you participate in the linky parties with me!

Until next time...

Christmas Blessings!
